OVERDRIVE/ BOOSTER- FARM PEDALS Bucket of Nails ...a really great sound! BUT?

FARM PEDALS BUCKET OF NAILS OD/BOOSTER
An interesting idea.  The left side is 60's style Rangemaster treble booster that boosts the highs but equally the upper mids using a germanium transistors.
The left uses a geranium transistors to  set to boosts the lows.both sides distort so calling the pedal a Fuzz or OD is not a stretch.

It is sounds great when pushed it has an earthy funky bluesy tone.
Unfortunately it hasn't a Level/Volume control so you can not use it at unity gain. 
A necessity if you are using a pedal board running into a clean amp.

CONCLUSION
It certainly has a lot of character. Without a modern desin to include a level control
or a cuircut to isolate the germanium transistors from interference from other pedals
it has a limited practical use
