Baic Audio has been making pedals for years. Some of their Fuzz pedals have been around for 10 years or more. This takes the original tone bender and exchanges it's germanium transistors to silicon. Doing so was a popular mod in the late 60's. Even Sola Sound changed their Tone Bender Fuzz pedals to silicon before they faded away as Electro Harmonix changed the direction of the Fuzz with silicon based Muff.

Basic Audio designed this pedal to keep all the sputtering and chocking to a minimum.To this day it  is favourite with guys that are not to crazy about a Fuzz so if it mostly handles like an OD all the better.
