This pedal is a handmade King of Tone style pedal using the same vintage parts as the original ...right down to the MA856 diodes.
In short it 'IS' a KOT.
The only change is it has two small toggle switches so unlike the KOT you do not have to open the pedal up to get it's 2 little DIP switches for the diode selectors.

Rafferty also let you select the same little custom mods as Analogman does.
You only wait a few weeks not a few years.
then there is the price!!!!

CONCLUSION
How close it is to the KOT is for me a non starter. The pedal sounds amazing and the price 
is damn cheap for any good OD with two channels let alone this gem
.
I love the graphics ...it has nothing but great tongue in cheek humor!!! ...Brilliant!!!
