History has it that we got germanium Fuzz, then Silicon Fuzz and not until Op Amps did we get OD's which were followed by FET OD's. 

Yes now everything ever made either reproduced or moded is on offer. Big but. taking the first and bringing up to the present is a bit like making toddlers shoes in sizes big enough for adults, lol.

But I remind you of Rocks Golden Rule for tone If it sounds good it is good.  

The layout is volume, gain, treble and bass. 

 

CONCLUSION 

Typical of the P. company. Good sounding but a 

bit off the wall. A tube might sound good in 

your iPhone but it is an odd thing to do. 

In short, it could have been sold as a 

low gain Fuzz. I expect it is an OpAmp 

OD with germanium clipping diodes.
