FUZZ- ARTEC Classic Fuzztown __if I am not muf-taken this is ....

$60.00 USD
ARTEC|
CLASSIC FUZZTOWN
Artec brought this out 15 years ago and Stateside it had Washburn on the box. The company is best known as the Korean company that makes PU's for Ibanez, Duncan and many Korean guitar makers.
This pedal sounds very muff like to me. It is literally two separate Fuzz pedals that can run separate or stacked. The White side is more of a medium gain Fuzz like a Russian Green and the Black has a NYC vibe like the one Jack White loves.
The layout is level and gain for each side.
The tone is fixed.
___
CONCLUSION
Well it is fat, aggressive and biting. It can do a good hard rock over to a near Doom thing when the two are mixed. A bit weird but it sounds cool.
You can find these at ___ Only Pedals.

  1. I just bought an ARTEC Cooldrive pedal and it's a very nice pedal. It has some tube like feel as well. I'm chasing a used Twin Head now, but no lucky so far. Also curious about this Fuzz one. Ps: English is not my first language, hope I have written stuff correctly.

  2. Do you mean a Two channel head or a Fender Twin Reverb head. The Fender head is obligate to put the reverb tank in the head and it rattles very easily and makes it near unusable. The Fender Twin Reverb combo amp has the tank under the speakers near the floor and works and sounds great.

  3. Oh, not really. Of course it would be great. But I was talking about a pedal from Artec called "Artec Twin Head" that is a simple pedal that emulates a fender and a Marshall amp from turning one of its knobs from the central position to the left or to the right. You can check it out at their website as well.

Sorry for my bad English. Well, we can laugh about it anyway.
