This is one of the oddest but most interesting pedals I have ever heard.
You get a choice of Silicon, Germanium or JFET' so one is not expecting a classic amp sound in a traditional way.
The setup is strange with a pramp that can be pre or post gain ...switchable or always on.
There is a blend control to mix in some dry signal.
The overall sound has a very big mid range resonance and a pleasant acoustic tone to it.
It really turns a solid body low gain sound into a convincing semi acoustic sound. It should appeal to fusion players.
I can see it as a wonderful alternative for the finger or flat picking player.
It really doesn't seem like an OD at all ...just a nice semi going through a warm sounding tube amp.
CONCLUSION
I could definitely use this for tunes I wrote on my Martin and transferred to an electric.
Some players could even use as an always on pedal especially a singer
songwriter who plays mainly accompaniment.
