 VIVIE HIGH GAIN DISTORTION 

From Japan comes Vivie with the usual Japanese attention to quality and detail.
It does a good Brit style medium gain pedal right up to a modern high gain Metal.
The sound is very earthy with the gain backed off
but melts into the molten lead of the expected
moden Metal sound.








It has it's own personality which in the right hands can give a guy ..."His Sound". Unfortunately a few makers like REVV  have all but defined the 'exact' Metal sound.

CONCLUSION
The Metal pedal is becoming the new Tube screamer ...everyone is making one. The Raven checks enough boxes to check out and a few players will find it gives them just enough difference to stand out from the crowd.
There is nothing new here but half us have a Fender, or Gibson and that has not been a handicap. lol
