CARL MARTIN TOD OVERDRIVETHE DIZZY DRIVE
Tim Christensen of the Danish band Dizzie Miss Lizzy came to Carl to see if they could make him a better OD. At the time he was using a Boss Turbo OD pushing a Marshall stack.
The goal was a fatter sound and more headroom.
From that came the LTD. ED. Dizzy Drive of which only 500 were ever made.
The demand for more became quickly apparent so with perhaps a tweak or two

Carl Martin has always made a quality product. It is hard to fault this pedal. I feel like all the C.M. drives it lacks a bit of character and just a rough edge here and there to make it 'real'.
But these gripes are quibbles and lint picks.
Definitely a contender.
