This video shows that inflation alone does not make up 

for the gouging on guitars. It shouldn't, but it ignores new 

mass production techniques. In '59 a guitar body cut and 

ready for sanding was at a minimum an hour. Now with

computer guided CNC and other high tech machines it is 

5 minutes.
