SEYMOUR DUNCAN Power Stage Amps
These are Type D amps. They are dead clean and notoriously
gutless and in spite of impressive wattages have no lows or balz.
The wattage ratings are deceptive. I use an ART SLA 2 rack mount.
In mono it puts out 560 RMS watts into 8 ohms it is NOT louder
than my 50 watt Marshall Plexi. All that power merely keeps the
lows from wimping out. I have a Friedman IR-X tube pre. It uses
balanced out and these do not have a balanced input. WTF???
