Yes, another Klon, LOL. The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain. A separate knob called Klean is to blend in a clean preamp boost. The real Klon does that for you by using a stacked pot where the OD doesn't kick in until you hit 9 O'clock on the sweep. The original Stars that had a real Klon decades ago seldom set the gain past 10 O'clock.

                         CONCLUSION __

The OD section of the original Klon is at best equal to an average cheap Tube Screamer. The Preamp boost is to die for, LOL.

It sets out to give you 'more' of the magic Klon pre and succeeds. 

The price is sensible. But???  I already bought 3 Klons and hated 

them all.

I know have my 4th. The $50.00 USD SONICAKE Trio-Rider. 

You get 3 Klon voices. The infamous classic Gold the Silver, 

'bright' (only 30 ever made) and the KTR (the new Klon 

that died after 2 years and was pulled.)

I leave it on Silver although all 3 sounds are totally usable.
