Yes 15 f.-ing knobs and switches you have to get right to get your sound actually your sound. So many I felt it redundant to write them all down with an explanation so I gave you a big pic to muse over. To be fair it is laid out really well. You have control of the input and output volume and a basic 5 slider graphic EQ is no different than five knobs. Three of these can be linked and set up like a multi channel amp Pre. With 3 of these pedals you get your Clean/Crunch and Lead. It is designed to simply use regular patch cables to be able to switchthem like a 3 channel amp.
CONCLUSION __
Getting 3 of these would oddly make life simple because you would get to know the layout and could get exactly what works for you for a Clean/Crunch/Lead setup. On the other hand having 3 separate pedals by 3 seperate companies you could have a more realist Fenderish Clean, Marshall Crunch and a high gain take on a gourmet Lead. Three Boundless will set you back just shy of $1000 and it will always sound like one amps sound not 3 distinct ones.
The pedal has arguably a $320 value with all that is in it.
I am sure everyone will only buy one anyways.
I find pedals are like food. We always havean appetite for
a different taste. So for all its cleverness one is likely going
to set and forget. You can do thatwith a sound/pedal you
