Basically a MESA Dual Rectifier voiced to be boosted and tight. In other words with the amp you are likely to put a Tube Screamer or boost pedal stacked into the amp to get what this pedal has done for you in its box.you do get a layout to add more of whatever you need. You get Volume, Gain, Treble, Mids and Bass.
CONCLUSION __
Aris have a stelar rep for quality and making pedals that meet or surpass your expectations since 2014. For years they made pedals primarily to take a real stack or high gain amp even higher.
But know they have taken their smarts to making Amp-in-a Box
pedals that even if you are a low wattage combo player with a
single clean channel practice amp you have got that dead right
sound. Those that buy one soon buy another and another!!!
Compared to other brands you get far more than you
paid for __and you do not pay a lot.
