MODELER- NUX Amp Core Studio__NEW__Sounds vs. Features? Sounds win! & $140.00

NU>X
AMP  CORE STUDIO
$140.00 USD
Yes another one??? It has 20 amps and 33 IR's that will accept
3rd party downloads. No it is not stereo the extra jacks are an
effects loop.
The specs are not published but you have a 48 kHz sampling rate.
Unusually very high spec, for an entry level pedal.
    CONCLUSION ____
A lot of guys are happy with a plug and play. This has
all the classic amps and a few gourmet types too. Best
of all the sampling rate is serious sh@t. In short you
get a world class sound so recording should not let
you down. Other makers have features that allow
for a lot of tweaking and choices but as the cliche
goes ...you can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig.
              ...Not a toy!!!

  1. The new Marshall plexi sounds great ! How does it compare with the Dolamo D4 (Small version of the Caline English man)?

  2. The 10 year old Caline was a take on a Marshall Guv'nor . About 10 years ago everyone was doing one and those like JHS sounded more like the MI Audio version then a Guv'nor. The Dolamo is a higher gain pedal (I have one but am not using) For me it gets down to application. The more you need to have versatility the more an Amp-in-a-Box can become too specific. Boss got big by making thigs that do many things well but a specific thing much less so. For tunes that you want both a little aggression on but can also pull back for accompaniment parts the Boss Blue Driver is great. Joyo do the Bright Day a clone of the Waza Craft version.
