Univibe- JAM PEDALS Retro-Vibe mk.2___NEW____ nailed!!!

JAM PEDALS
RETROVIBE MK.2
$420.00 USD
Except for a few small bugs the mk.2 is a very faithful capture of the original pedal. It uses NOS parts identical to the original
and a charge pump to push up the voltage to 15 volts. Again
like the original.
I hated the Uni-vibe for years and now I love it. The problem was 99% get the sound of the attack of the modulation sweep literally percussive. It makes you sound like you have a cheap drum machine thumping away with a thin trashy sounding drum in time with the sweep. The attack should be mellow and unobtrusive.
Only the MXR UniVibe and the Jam have it right. The layout is Depth and Speed with a toggle to select either Vibrato or Chorus.
A jack on the side lets you insert a modulation pedal to
manipulate the speed of the modulation.
  CONCLUSION ___
It nails the sound. With many pedals small changes or indeed deliberate
alternative takes can still make a pedal worth playing. This is an exception.
The only thing they fixed was the reliability. That said the Dunlop does a
very good job but it is a bit dirty sounding. I tend to use mine with Fuzz
pedals so I find it perfect. The MXR is $150.00 USD.
