GUITAR- SILVERTONE _Sears, Robuck brand _ made by Harmony, Kay & Danelectro

In the 50's and 60's most players started out on a Sears or Montgomery Ward guitar. Why? They were cheap, you could get one from a catalog just like now you get one from a catalog but it is now online. There were only very small family run bricks and mortar Music stores and even those were rare. A town would have to be a good size to have one. Know even they are collectors items. At any rate they are fun to check out.

In the first pic the guitars on the left corner surrounded in a pink box are made by Harmony, the guitars standing upright in front their guitar case are Danelectro. All the others are Kay.
