PREAMP- ORIGIN EFFECTS BASSRIGs ___NEW___'64 Black Panel & the Super Vintage

ORIGIN EFFECTS BASSRIG '64 Black Panel
ORIGIN EFFECTS BASSRIG Super Vintage
Origin is famous for nailing anything they attempt to clone starting with compressors than
doing Amp-in-a-Box Pre's.
This time they give you two. One covers all 60's Blackface amps the other simply does the Ampeg SVT.
I was there. In short I saw what guys used in the 60's.
Yes they had Fenders. More important everyone WANTED the SVT. It was all about budget. There were guys in club cover bands etc that were happy with a Fender. Big but. It was because they got the job done for a reasonable price. In other words WTF, no one wanting to 'get the job done' these days spends $500 on a preamp.
The SVT can do OK with a lot of guys especially the going direct guys using this as a travel rig with maybe a compressor throw in the bag with it.
My bass player uses the ideal rig for it with a Pre going balanced out to lightweight studio ...500 watt plus rackmount power amp. That itself is a throwback. With a small board and a comp, EQ, gate, real tube OD and pre all high end this pedal is a bit late.
__$500.00 USD each__
CONCLUSION
The world market is so huge that there is a healthy market for luxury goods that is simply not affected in even hard times. In short they are 'cool' if nothing else but small time Pro's can not afford them and those further up the scale will spend even more for a good multi-effects plus modeler rig.
