'HOW MUCH' GOES TO THE GUY IN THE DEMO? ___ WHAT IS EVERYONE BUYING?

HOW MUCH?

For example if a Youtuber recommends you buy from 

Sweetwater and you punch in a code the YouTuber 

gets a commision on the sale.  It varies by the both 

the product and the store. Amounts in general are 

from 5% to 20%.

DO I MAKE MONEY?

Debatable? 5 times in over 10 years I was gifted a pedal for praising a pedal or the builder. 

In all cases I have first finished the review, paid full money to buy the pedal in it and then 

was offered a different  free pedal in gratitude. I said thanx but no thanx. 

They sent it anyways. It was always a pedal I would never use. I gave them away😇 

My site thrives because I can not be bought. I can call a sh*t pedal sh*t   ...or an overpriced 

pedal a rip off. I also recommend similar or clones at a fraction of the price.

I will be 80 on my next birthday. I completely live on a small pension that gives me 

$20,000 a year.  

 

WHO BUYS WHAT ?  

I was surprised by the diversity. Some guys are focusing on guitar gear others just Guitars and amps or more than not a mismatched collection of anything and everything. Most are hobbies and if the like pedals most are not on a board but a bookcase. One week they get an Overdrive and on another they get a golf club.
