Designer Bjorn Juhl has made his own pedals but primarily licenses 

them to other builders but often not with exclusive rights so at any 

given time there can be as many as 3 brands making the same pedal. They use the same topography but usually different brands of parts. Bearfoot have been around the longest and make a better than 

adequate pedal at a reasonable price.  The unit is a silicon Fuzz very loosely in the Muff family but leaning into FuzzyDrive territory.

The layout is Volume, Treble, Gain and BIAS. 

     CONCLUSION . . . .

Version 2 has a BIAS control so you can get

more raspy and chunky sounds from it. Even 

faux germanium sounds. There are dozens 

of v.1 videos but only the one v.2. I hear 

nothing to bitch about but nothing exciting 

either.
