Satisfaction PLUS
The Maestro Fuzz Tone was the first readily available manufactured
Fuzz. It was thin, very nasal and lacked serious sustain. But it gave
you a radical change of tone at the click of a switch. I got one as a
kid to go with my National tube amp with one knob and an 8 inch speaker and my Harmony Rocket single cut semi :-)Probably the coolest Fuzz ever is the Tone Bender. It is a hot rodded Fuzz Tone, lol. But I digress. This is definitely a Fuzz Tone but with a couple of extras. The layout tells the story. You get Volume, Gain and Tone and a BIAS control.
A toggle labeled Fat is a mids boost.
If you play music that is deliberately garage
band kitsch this is heaven. The mods added do not mask the basic sound.
😦 ...spend $25 more and buy the Tone Bender
