The unit uses NAM Profiling. The tech is not quite 2 years old and is

unrelated to all other kinds of profiling. You can not do any editing or reshaping like other tech. However there is as close as it gets when it comes to accuracy of capturing the real sound. So except for ordinary EQ what you hear is that you get. So let's skip the bafflegab. 

It is a preset machine. 

 

    CONCLUSION ___  

Like all modelers and perhaps worse than others this is furthest from the experiences of playing thru an amp. 

An amp is the equivalent to that body/sound box on your Martin. It is a real world organic feeling experience. 

It is not as in this case smoke and mirrors. 

The company makes a Reverb to die for by acquiring 

real world famous buildings' reverb sounds. 

...but back to the Martin.

That Martin is played in a room. That room is once 

removed from the sound of that Martin coming 

back to your ears. In short as a Verb this tech 

is genius.  

....As for it being your amp???
