NAM- ZOOM Neurig Amplifier Emulator & FX ___SNEAK PEAK___A1 first impression's

 ZOOM  NEURIG

$300.00 USD
Yes yet another NAM pedal with added effects. Like all ZOOM boxes you get well a made
unit with a pro sound & a lot if not every feature. Nothing less than a manual with
any of what gets lumped together as a Modeler is ever simple or user friendly
so a good video is a must.
                  CONCLUSION __
The good news is that most of us are near a fairly large venue like the
Guitar Center have stocked Zoom products for years. You can
go down and get a hands on.

PROMISED UPDATES?
The first is a program so you can make your own NAM sounds. Off course if you
just want to download free ones???  There are 700 thousand to choose from ???
No that is not a typo.

OVERDRIVE- DARK DEVICES White Distro___NEW___ love it!!!

$250.00 USD
 DARK DEVICES
WHITE DISTRO
From Harry a new builder in Rochdale UK. A builder with
an old school approach. Not a slavish take of an old amp
or pedal but a unit that adds to your sound.
You get more headroom even at high gain and more
sustain at any level.
The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain and a toggle
to choose how much Gain.
     ·····
                        CONCLUSION ___
The thing is scary good!!! ðŸ˜‡

OD's- EARTHQUAKER Plume Jr. & Plume Jr. MOSFET___NEW___Tube Screamer clones?

EarthQuaker Devices
Plumes Jr. & Plumes Jr. MOSFET
$130.00 USD
They say it is not a Tube Screamer but a famous green pedal, WTF!! All brands love to re-invent the Tube Screamer. because the ts is the biggest selling pedal of all time. Even a crap one will be a big seller. It is usually the biggest seller for any brand. The original was not bought for an OD but for

a booster with a mid poke at 723.4 Hz. If that is what you want buy an Ibanez TS9. King of the poke!!!
CONCLUSION ___
All of the many Plumes over the last 7 years are really part of the family of medium Gain OD's. and not ts pedals. They actually sound very good except they are thin sounding. The new Mini's added a Bass boost on
a toggle. For me without it would be a deal breaker.
In short I can recommend this pedal as very good
sounding Mid Gain OD. The MOSFET model sounds
more Tube like but the standard will have more bite.

OVERDRIVE- KING TONE - The Soloist Mini ___NEW ___ SRV-in-a-Box

KingTone
 S O L O I S T
$200.00 USD
Jesse Davey started King Tone in 1999 because in spite of having the
rep of being the next SRV, playing in a blues band did not pay all his
bills. Having been taught by his Dad at age 10 to build electronic
device's making pedals was a perfect fit. For years he has split
between his shop and touring.
Ten years ago he made a double pedal the Duelist which is a Tube
Screamer on one side and a BluesBreaker on the other. This is the
Tube Screamer side. The layout is Volume, Tone and Body which
adds fattening Low mids. Internally a switch adds Glass.
It nails the SRV chime.
                  CONCLUSION ___
The short video speaks for itself. The guy playing
it is the guy that built it ...Jesse Davey himself.
Apparently his live shows are mind blowing.

DELAY/REVERB- VALETON VDS 1-d __NEW __impressive pro sound __budget price!!!

$120.00 USD

VALETON VDS-1d   Delay & Reverb
Basic 'need to have' Delays and Verbs. Simple old
school layout.
·····
      CONCLUSON
Very good looking. Easy to use and dial in
your choices and very well made. Totally
pro sounds. Cheap!!! Excellent value for
your ca$h layout.

FUZZ- OVALTONE GUITAR EQUIPMENT Ectoplasm Fuzz Mk1 ___NEW ___ killer Fuzz

Ovaltone  GUITAR EQUIPMENT
 ECTOPLASM FUZZ MK l
$265.00 USD
I can trace this Japanese company back to 2015 and they have
produced 22 pedals since then. I expect much less are actually
still being made. Lets just say their site is not very user friendly
if you speak English.
This pedal appears to be a Fuzzy/Drive & either OpAmp based or
it is a silicon Fuzz. The layout is Volume, Tone, Gain and a Bass
Boost on a top mounted switch for more gain and another to
kick on a high pass filter to tighten the lows.
          ↪  CONCLUSION
The overall sound has a grainy girth with a BIAS thing
doing a bit of a nice but nasty thickening to the tone.
It is tight but still pleasantly open. It has some punch
and a serious sustain. It is mud free even when tuned
to be super huge extra jumbo monstrously fat, 😇.
Not much, not to like, except the expected luxury price.

FLANGER/CHORUS- NUX Mini SCF ...TC Electronics 1976 Chorus Flanger clone

NUX
$80.00 USD
MINI SUPER CHORUS
No secret this is a digital algorism take of a 1976 Analog
rack mount game changer unit. The layout is a nice simple
Speed, Width and Intensity with the choice from a button
between either the Flanger or Chorus.
CONCLUSION __
The company has a rep of either missing the target
or nailing the bullseye. They did a stellar job on
this one. The original is famous for its near
digital like glassy clarity so going straight
 digital was a perfect match.
A very good sound for a reasonable price.

FUZZ- TONECAT Fuzz Au Chocolat ___ NEW ___ Big Muff clone

$80.00 USD
TONECAT

FUZZ AU CHOCOLAT

If you think soft drink in any country you think Coca Cola and if you think Fuzz you think Big Muff. That said what do you need know???
Well this is a one size overkill fits all so lets not go from Triangle
to NYC models to narrow it down.
   CONCLUSION
Tonecat gives you a 'handmade in Australia' and very
usable effort with killer and fun graphics at a very
affordable ca$h outlay.
