became transferred over the decades to a full range OD.

The layout is Volume, Gain, Bass and Treble with 

a boost control at 2k and 4k. 

          CONCLUSION ____ 

Not your grandads Tube Screamer it can be 

used from a clean boost to a medium gain 

OD all the while keeping a transparent vibe 

to the sound.

This is a new kid on the block. They have been introducing  

the nine pedals on their site one at a time about every couple 

of months or so for a year. The dirt pedals all have a similar layout. 

The Silver Spurs is a bit of a take on the Marshall Silver

Jubilee and this seems like that pedal with a hot rodded 

high gain channel. The layout is Volume, Gain, Damping, Headroom, Bass and Treble with Mids having a quasi

parametric sweep. Lastly a much loved Gate. 

CONCLUSION ___ 

It is damn impressive though one may go nuts picking

this over the Silver Spurs MIAB if you lean more to an

EVH vibe than a Sabbath with a bit of gloom.

It is loosely based from 60's Traynor Bass Master amp 

used for both guitar and Bass.

The Layout is Volume, Tone, Gain and attack which boost 

everything above 1K. A toggle gives 2 levels of scooped  

mids. 

 

  CONCLUSION ___

Well it has balz and girth. The highs have a 

nice poke.  In spite of the high end parts  

I find the price obscene!!!

Basically a Fuzzy drive with the good ol' Boss Chorus in 

the same box. The layout give the Chorus Rate and Mix 

and a toggle to chose  Chorus or Vibrato. The Fuzz/Drive 

gets Gain and Volume.  

 

CONCLUSION ____   

It sounds very good. No, I do not think 

it is even meant to be a replica sound of 

either pedal but the vibe of both is 

excellent.

___________These were just released without any fanfare. I am 110% sure they are simply MOOER pedal with a new paint job and graphics. At $100.00 each a pop you can get some of them that MOOER re-branded as iSET for as cheap at $25 each. WTF!!! Or you can get then all with a black paint job for $50 or less from SONICAKE. 

In fact MOOER has done this re-brand for 36 companies over the years some like Rowan pop up now and again.  

CONCLUSION ___ 

Save your money. Check out iSET first. 

I have the pedal MOOER call the Blade, 

Tiesco call the Metal Distortion. The iSET 

call it the Grim Heavy Metal.

The old Sovtek MIG50 amp is now in-a-Box. Josh Scott of JHS has collection of every MIG 50 version, 😇. 

The topography is virtually an amp with the tubes swapped out for FETS. The layout is Bass, Mids and Treble. with an input Volume and a Master Volume. 

        CONCLUSION __ 

This box has a chunky sound with a lot of breadth and girth just like the amp. It has its own sound but it sounds very Brit. The amps pre is very close to a Marshall JTM 45. This pedal checks all the boxes but best of all it has a lot of character.

This is a second take on the first generation large pedal with another 

2 knobs. It was around lone enough to find where the owners found 

the sweet spots and by hard wiring those internally you could make 

at a smaller easier to use pedal that was at minimum as good. The 

pedal is a take on the black face Fender amps. The Super, the Deluxe 

and the Vibrolux. these are the most coveted of all Fenders amps 

because they have the grit of the Tweed but the clarity of the 

silver face amps that came after them. 

      CONCLUSION __

This is a low gain pedal. It can only really do its magic

with a modern silver face. The exception is the Fender 

Hot Rod Deluxe that looks Tweed like but has a modern

Fender clean sound to pump the Mad Prof. through.

This pedal was demoed at the just closed NAMM 2026

and will not be released until June. Hence I do not

have more videos or indeed an exact price.

What we get is a very high gain Metal pedal with all the

extras. For a start the damn thing uses FETS like the

serious high end makers. No OpAmps with clipping 

diodes here!!!

You get both a clean and dirty channel.

The layout gives you 2 channels of Volume, Bass, Mids, 

Treble and Gain. You get a Gate and a boost. A toggle

changes the attack from Punch to Percussive. Another

toggle adds a high pass filter to lighten the lows and still another adds some Bite.

           NOTE: 

A new company that is aiming at more than another batch of dumbed 

down cheapie entry level pedals is not what one expects to sneak in 

our back door on Amazon. Yes they do a very slick looking sight of 

their own so they have decided to  get our attention while we 

ordering pencils and paperclips.

      CONCLUSION ___ 

We get a pedal with every useful feature one could want. 

In the end ..."does it sound good"? Well I for one did not 

go ''Oh WOW''. On the other hand I have its basic sound 

covered. They make the $100.00 USD Ares pedal that

covers its basic dirt thing in a smaller package. Keep 

in mind the Gate alone makes this worth $30 more.
