A classic but miniature  mechanical spring reverb that can also use light to move sound to create reverb FX. Since a mechanical is quite simply analog it creates a complex and varied sound. With digital the sound is exact specific and fixed. It does not vary. Think of it this way. With a digital drum ...every hit of the head is the same sound. it is sonic photograph. A real drum varys on every hit. So 100 hits on a digital drum are 100 of the same tone. 100 hits on a real analog drum are 100 different sounds.

There is electron manipulation to give you variety of unusual  sounds but it is basic use of springs and light do indeed change the game for a compact pedal.

CONCLUSION

I feel it's size and weight alone will make it a winner. Add to that

the tone is not at all made small or less rich by using such small

springs. In short it is more than competitive with the very best 

classic spring reverbs. I feel a lot of guys with a guitar, couple of analog pedals and vintage or gourmet amp

may find this a must have.
