A simple but good idea take the basic Big Muff and allow ever possible tweak of the gain and EQ to get the sound that works for you.
There is a Boost stage with pre-gain, depth and Fuzz. Stage 1 gives you 3 choices of clipping. Stage 2 gives yo 4 stages of clipping. Finally the EQ stage is bass, mids, treble and your output level.
CONCLUSION
Any pedal is only as good as it sounds. Add to that player that gig prefer to set
a sound and either leave it or occasionally
tweak one or 2 knobs. I prefer uses 2 OD's over having one that needs too many
changes to cover the bases.
All pedals have a basic 'voice' and no amount of anything turns Brand x into Brand y even if they both offer you a simple Tube Screamer.
