It is hard to complain about this company. They take the golden oldies and fix what's broken on the original but do not mess with the sound.
They then build the pedal like a tank, give the pedal a lifetime warranty and finally sell it at a budget price.
This is their take on a Ram's Head' Fuzz. It was the third Muff. It was also the Muff that has since been
the most iconic. Previous Muffs have their merits
but this is the one with the fat wall of sound that all
Fuzz builders aim at beating !
It is the sound of Gilmor on Comfortably Numb!
CONCLUSION
I had the original when it came out and it was my only dirt pedal for years. There was simply nothing
better! I sure side by side it may not sound exactly the same. But I would it would be a lot of quibbling and lint picking.
The cool thing is it is a keeper. Pedals will come and go on
your board but not this one.
