Assembled by hand in North Carolina? OK ...not much but it is all I can source on this small builder. I find there are 2 kinds of fuzz builders. Those that found a Fuzz can be as simple as 7 parts so if you venture into DIY land it is a great place to start. Unfortunately some of these guys go pro driven more by ego or commerce than something to offer. Others however love the creative thing of making fascinating tones without restrictions. A Fuzz is judged more on face value than other pedals. With a MIAB we can say that it doesn't sound like Marshall. With a fuzz it is primarily all subjective.With one knob , WTF ...there is not much to say. One thing I do like from the get go. The knob is simply for volume. other one knobs are not and on a pedal board it you can get a boost when you do not want or indeed if you are singing too can not use it or you get a drop out.
CONCLUSION __
As you probably expect from the name it is a huge massive Fuzz with a name only a Doom player can love, lol. I however was surprised it sounded like some of the AIAB pedals that do a take on the SUNN Model T amp. In short it is very much like the Earthquacker Acapulco Gold OD. It is even more open sounding than the 'Gold' which gives it a massive but airy sound. It it is not a thick syrupy sound that only fits easily into a Doom thing. I could even put a vocal over it without a fight to the death competition with it where the Fuzz wins. Impressive and priced cheap enough to
have enough money for gas to get to work and pay for it.
