OVERDRIVE WARM AUDIO Warmdrive ...Zendrive clone

$150.00 USD
WARM AUDIO|WARMDRIVE
I noticed that Robben Ford still uses his old Hermida ZenDrive the first of the Dumble-in-a-Box pedals. Love Pedals still offers it under license to Hermida. So when I saw the Warm Audio Warmdrive pedal. I thought I should have a good look. Warm Audio are all about making very close sounding and even where possible using the original look and build of the casings. The only difference I have heard from their version of a classic pedal is they are quieter and always bit fuller.
Original, licensed or clone they all have volume, gain, tone and voice. Voice pulls up the lows while it cuts back the gain.

CONCLUSION
$1000
First you have a choice, used original $1000, LovePedal $240

or Warm for $150 :-) I have never been a fan of the Zen, the Klon the Timmy or Tube Screamer. They are both not transparent enough or when pushed they are in MIAB territory so why use a balzless medium gain pedal
when there are killer medium gain Marshall pedal. That said with the gain pulled back you get a good near black Face Fender sound.

$240
