When the tube Screamer came out it was an instant hit and every day hundreds more are sold. Soon companies all made one. Many soon found if they changed just one diode and named the pedal some dumb name guys would pay big money for their re-invention of the same old wheel. When all this wore thin the company stared adding extra EQ. and boosts.

One day along came the Klon. Soon everyone had a clone. Now like the Tube Screamer 

we will be getting a Klon with a funny name like the AKC-4 with a which you must note has extra EQ and a boost, LOL

CONCLUSION

Same ol' and predictably the big price tag. 

If you want a Klon buy a Harby Centauri 

for $150.00 USD. If the real Klon is a 10 

the Harby is a 9.9 :-)

the fine print

If you set this pedal up to get a real Klon sound you get a mediocre one. 

If you set up the pedal to get a nice Crunch you get a mediocre one. 

If you bring in the boost for a high gain pedal you get a mediocre one. 

So you do not get just one crap pedal ...you get 3 of them in one. ...WTF???
