OVERDRIVE- PAST FX TS-Y ...a new, take on Gilmour's old 80's Tube Driver Pre

The Buffalo FX big seller was once the long discontinued the Buffalo FX TD-X EQ and Booster. The pedal was a take on the 80's Tube Driver Pre. that Gilmour loved. PAST-FX did a faithful copy of that but it was a large pedal and so know keeping with the times it was condensed and put in a standard 'B' box.

So we have a take, on a take, on a take of a ...pedal, lol.

It has a simple layout of gain, volume treble and bass.

It has big fat midrange honk that in spite of very good EQ to tweak you can not really tame.

CONCLUSION

I have 15 MIAB pedals so I will pass on this one. I do however love it. Killer fat and an overall really nice old school tone. What's not to like!!!
