HOW TO BUILD A FUZZ FACE WITH MARKUS REEVES
The first Fuzz was the Maestro Fuzz Tone. The Fuzz Face is basically really just a step up in complexity to that circuit. BIG BUT! It is just enough of a step to make it sound as Pro as anything ever made since.
The cool thing is the comparison between the original build and the modern Dunlop. The difference is there, but it really all in the detail. In short the modern equivalent is NOT at all disappointing. My point is you can get into the game for $100 with the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz which is literally the 'blue colored' Fuzz in the video.
