Before the Tube Screamer if you wanted to boost a dark amp 

like a JTM45 or dark PLEXI you went for a Rangemaster Treble 

Booster and it was your always on pedal, Brian May, Page 

and Tony Iommi all had one. The layout is boost and on this 

modern take you get a toggle to beef up the lows. 

     CONCLUSION __

The price is fair and it does its thing. That said the 

Suhr Brighton is the same price and noticeably better.

With it you can add some serious low end balz.

As for me I am leaning towards passing on a Rangemaster 

for the $135.00 USD Tone City Green Tube a TS10 Tube  

Screamer voiced to get a SRV sound.
