Before the Tube Screamer if you wanted to boost a dark amp 

like a JTM45 or dark PLEXI you went for a Rangemaster Treble 

Booster and it was your always on pedal, Brian May, Page 

and Tony Iommi all had one. The layout is boost and on this 

modern take you get a toggle to beef up the lows. 

     CONCLUSION __

The price is fair and it does its thing. That said the Siteck Germanium booster takes the whole thing with a preamp 

in it takes it to different level that adds some serious balz. 

It is however $180.00 USD. As for me I am leaning into 

the $135.00 USD Tone City Green Tube a TS10 Tube 

Screamer voiced to get a SRV sound.
