I will be straight up & honest. I thought at first hearing about this

it was a cheap gimmick & a total con. In fact laughable. OOPS!

If you are a Fuzz guy you may know that a Germanium Fuzz can sound  

fat and warm and its rich overtones give the treble content dancing 

overtones and rich harmonics. This box simply puts clipping diodes 

across the input signal. There is not any  preamp section to crank the 

signal so it doesn't need  electricity.  A toggle lets you choose between 

a 1N270 or a 1N34A Germanium diode to clip input signal.

CONCLUSION ___

Even going straight into a clean amp gives you a very transparent 

sound with a nice fat breadth to the signal and a bit of bite that 

is very pleasing. The price is a bit of an ouch. I can not help to 

think half of it, perhaps $75 would be fair.
