The new and improved Multivox SR-8 Bigjam Distortion. 

The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain. A a toggle lets you 

go from its classic 741 OpAmp and 1N60 germanium 

diodes to silicon diode. Another toggle gives you the 

original or modern voice. 

            CONCLUSION __

It is a welcome choice to get back an oldie 

especially one loved as it was a budget pedal 

of its day so no one revives it. The near liquid 

sound and snarl from the germanium diodes 

give it a great sound.
