OVERDRIVE- IBANEZ TS9DX Turbo Tube Screamer... a needed price drop?

Turbo Tube Screamer ⸳ 

This is basically Ibanez offering features that the small makers have 

put in their ts pedals for decades. The layout has the standard TS9 

one of Volume, Gain and Tone. But added is a Bass control and 

rotary switch with a Mids boost and the Hot control is a clean Boost.  

     CONCLUSION __ 

This came out 17 years ago although it was overpriced and 

production runs were patchy and it was often out of stock

in even the larger shops. Small stores usually did not even

order them. Ibanez have wisely just dropped the greedy

$185.00 USD price. Even so...

The $35.00 USD Caline CP-75 Emerald Night in a shoot out

with the switch left in the TS9 position sounded identical.
