It is deliberate old school Hard Clipper in the vain of the old BBE 427 Distortion, although it is not a clone. The layout is Volume, Tone 

and a toggle lets you choose either brighter LED clipping or 

simply the OpAmp raw. 

     CONCLUSION __

On the down side in an age of Gain is everything you only 

get a fixed voice. On the up side the OC have nailed the 

sweet spot. If you love it you will never get frustrated with 

tweaking, LOL. Its big plus is it has a very open sound and 

great touch sensitivity. It definitely will shine as a 

boost pedal when stacked.
