There was a day 17 years ago when one bought a V.1 of this 

Delay unless you couldn't afford it and got the 2nd rate MXR.😇

It is a classic Analog Delay but has Time as long as 2.4 seconds.

You can get a Tape Delay vibe with it's modulation. A toggle 

allows for tap modes and a second footswitch for locking to 

the groove of the drummer.  

 

   CONCLUSION __

What's not to love. The perfect vintage tones 

left in tack but with all the modern features 

that the Digital world offers.

...this pedal reminds me of the Stradivarius violin a perfect sounding instrument but the neck was not sloped back nor did it have a chin rest. Players of the time held it in by pressing it against their chest. It was updated much later. The Diamond is like that since its sound is analog but it  functions in a modern way by using digital to control its them. In short digital is its chin rest. The idea is not new but like the iPhone when new was a user friendly Blackberry. In short it like this pedal  it gives us what we need not a lot of needless excess. Diamond does not try to reinvent the wheel but simply give is the best wheel it can.
