This pedal has had a nich following for over 10 years with guys  

who want an old school late 60's/early 70's stack era vibe. Not Metal 

but the authentic sound of a single channel early 70'S Plexi Stack .

The layout is Volume, Gain and Tone. A switch gives you a tighter 

American sound or a wide open fuller bass of a Brit stack. 

            CONCLUSION ___ 

I flat out love it. It captures the breadth and thump 

of a single channel l Plexi. Yes, if you want leads and sustain 

you may wany to boost it. Hell that is easy with a pedal 

you probably already own.

Yes I am aware there are many that see this pedal as Suhr Riot clone. 

Big But. The Suhr has a polished studio sound with a weak low end. 

The Fire has a growl in the lows with a grainy rough sound in the harmonics.

 in short try setting up the Fire at its best and try and get the Suhr to copy it 

instead of the opposite. The Suhr can't do it. The Fire is for the guy that thinks a 

Rat is cooler than a Klon, like ME!!! lol
