A new mystery boy enters the market. For those that have been crying out that pedals are dead in the last 15 years I have found a dozen new companies every year. Most have survived. Some that you no longer hear about survive without making a new pedal at all or only doing so every few years. 

It is a Version 4 because it uses Silicon and not Germanium transistors. It does however use  Motorola 2N3903 transistors known for their warmth.

The layout is Input ..this allows you to cut back the incoming signal much the same as cutting back your guitar volume but easier to find the sweet spot. Attack is Gain. level is your output volume and Other is the much loved BIAS that controls the grit for either a smooth sound or a rough ride. 

    CONCLUSION ___ 

The misleading crap about being inspired by a Mk 3 gets up 

my nose as it confuses you guys looking for authenticity. 

No complaints about the functions. The Input is great for a 

singer wanting not to have to scramble with a guitar knob 

and sing at the same time. 

It sounds great and is fairly priced.
