FUZZ- MOSKY Big Fuzz ___NEW___ 4 voiced OpAmp Fuzz mimics Muff & Tonebender?

MOSKY AUDIO | BIG FUZZ
$40.00 USD
It could arguably be a Muff OpAmp clone but it is only a vague
take on a Tonebender. There is not a trace of germanium transistors comings through.
The 4 Fuzz choices sound to me to be fixed position BIAS settings.
The layout is the usual volume, Tone and Gain. A rotary switch
selects 2 Big Muffs a Tone Bender and a Boost. A toggle
changes a mid boost voice to a mild scoop.
CONCLUSION ___
It is the kind of pedal specialized Metal pedal companies make. They are proud to say the circuit started from some pedal like
an OpAmp Muff but it stops there. They are trying to get heavy overkill sounds so they only use their ears and personal ascetics.
In short this is one of those balz to the wall jobbies.
It is a very, very good job. It has great Doom and even a few
Thrash Metal genre sounds at a fraction of the price of the gourmet
Metal pedals. When backed off you get enough noises to play
just about anything. A 4 star Swiss Army Knife😲

  1. Thanks for the review. I’ve always found the Mosky, the small ones and a the “handwired” ones, to be VERY good for the money. I have the Brown “almost pfp Pinnacle clone, Ultimate Drive-OCD and the blue amp deluxe “almost pfp amp 11 clone and they’re all great. As are the handful of minis I’ve had or tried.

If you get the opportunity to try the new series like this phaser, comp, chorus, and plexi Id be grateful. Wish they were more thorough on what each of the modes were. Thanks for your time.
