This is something really different and done very well. One of the coolest sounds is to take a very clean booster or OD and push the level/volume knob so hard it totally slams the preamp tubes. Of course the problem is you go into ear bleed volumes. The Druid does this very, very well with a very authentic sound but with out the high volume. Sure you go crazy & push up the level too but you do not need to to get that tone. If you push it into Marshall the pedal is worth it's weight in gold. LOL
Yes you still get a great sound even though a small combo. It also stacks really well!
CONCLUSION
Just plain killer !!!
