So what happens if you take a modern Fuzz design and put in a vintage BC109 bipolar silicon transistor.
The layout gives you the usual level, gain/distortion tone controls and intensity. A switch lets you boost the low end.
CONCLUSION
In the lower bass setting you get a modern OD/Fuzz sound reminiscent of a 70's hardclipper. With the bass switched on you get a massive low end with a bit of spit and spatter but not so much that the overall sound does not have a nice smooth mass.
The graphics with a wide frame from the edge of the pedal and the large lens over the pilot light is very appealing.
Go to 1:50 if you wish to skip the bass guitar demo.
