OVERDRIVE- M-VAVE Mini-Amp ...a Boss Katana in a box???? maybe lol.

M-VAVE
MINI-AMP
$30.00 USD
So you get 9 low-Fi modeled pre-sets and each is meant to clone an amp. Some are better than others but they hardly measure up to a pedal trying to nail the perfect version. They offer clean to low gain and crunch sounds but most are high gain.
The layout is Gain, Level, Bass, Mids, and Treble with a rotary switch to chose the amp. There is a vague list of what each is on the bottom of the pedal.

CONCLUSION ___
Be sure to memorize the amp list before applying Velcro 😲
To be fair a few of the generally speaking Thrash Metal sounds sound very good. At the price it could cover a lot of bases while
you save more a dream pedal or 9, LOL
M-Vave are a company that make military and emergency wireless. They also do consumer gadgets like baby monitors etc. I suspect this is low-fi digital. Usually a formula for toys not tools. So be wary.

    1. I bought 6 Flamma products. Half of them had problems like turning off at random in the middle of a tune. They all sounded thinner than the demos. Worst of all I had great difficulty get any help in English. I had a friend at Bandlab get me the E-mail that Cakewalk uses. Flamma were not helpful. They sent me solutions in Chinese not English and let me wait days before getting back to me after reportingly promising otherwise. This went on daily for a month, they did not offer to simply exchange the pedals. They were abrupt, curt and totally rude. Worst company on the planet!!!!

  2. How does it compare with Boss IR-2?

  3. The Boss is a modeler, they do not compare. I can compare modelers to modelers. They are apples and oranges. Tasty fruit but not the same.

  4. What Is the difference between modeler and digital preamp?

    1. Not a lot. A digital preamp has a fixed voice for each sound. It is like the difference with a synth altered to sound like an electric piano compared to an electric piano with one fixed sound. It is more about expectations and an understanding of what you can expect. At one time we used the term Distortion for every dirt box. Now we talk about low gain overdrive, medium gain, and high gain etc. so we understand what the differences with one or two words. A digital chorus pedal is in reality a modeled voice.
