Yes indeed the company makes the the 'Pexifier' so this is really a Plexifier V2, lol. 

They more or less admit the by referring to the Plexifier as their first MIAB.

The layout has the usual volume, tone and gain. The build quality from this 

MIJ company is as expected quite good. 

CONCLUSION

I bought but sold the Plexifier. 

It was pretty good but 3 times the money bought me better, lol. A real Plexi has a light Crunch but it has some bite as well. The Plexifier had no bite and the gain was lame. 

The tone was excellent so for vocal back up duties it was quite nice. The new one has that fixed and has the proverbial Jose 80's mod thing happening in the extra gain stage found at the end of the gain's sweep. It is competitively priced but no bargain. It is good sounding Plexi. Better are for the most part another $50.00 USD. The LPD Seventy4 being my first choice if you can afford it. It's $210.00 USD
