KLON CENTAUR & it's CLONES

I had 3 cheapies ...and then got a Wampler Tumnus. I did not like any of them. 

I found the Wampler muddy.

Klons have a boosted mid range that runs across the whole mid range at it's best it gives the pedal a glassy sound but it also gives it a honk which in a band gives it a 

kind of too much reverb sound.

The one Klon I did like in the video shootout is Way Huge pedals Conspiracy Theory. 

It had a gentle scoop in it that gets rid of any honk.
