This thing is an absolute joke, and a borderline scam. The marketing is ludicrous, and contains straight up lies. And it's probably just a clone of a Tubescreamer or a Timmy.

The guy that made the Timmy admits he started off by modifying a Tube Screamer so where would you like to draw the line.
ReplyDeleteThe Greer Lightspeed is the hottest selling pedal in the last 4 years. It take exactly 15 minutes and a couple $3 parts to convert back to the Timmy that it really is. The circuit board is covered with goop to not protect the thing from being copied but to hide the rip off, LOL As for this pedal you note I gave 3 sentence's. It merely an announcement not ones wildest dreams a 'Promotion'. It will disappear in a year. It is far too pricy and it was designed to only do its thing with a couple of pricey amps that 99.9% readers that visit here do not home.
That said one never knows. Vemuram have brought out a MIAB the Las Lunas it is the only pedal they make that is not a direct clone of anther pedal they barely changed and wanted 3 times the price. If you check my reviews I said so. This time they want a the same money as a Origin Rival Drive Compact which arguable the best out there and brought out a pedal at minimum is as good. In fact at the moment it is on my short list for pedal of the year.
