OVERDRIVE- JCA PEDALS & AMPS The Reverend___NEW___ Billy Gibbons-in-a-Box

$255.00 USD
JCA pedals & amps
+ series THE REVEREND

Yes ...a take on Billy Gibbons old brown Fender Deluxe.
The layout is simple. The familiar Volume, Gain & Tone.
With high headroom and a low noise floor.
            CONCLUSION __
German made in Motten Germany with that
cliched German thing of damn the price quality
first. A pass is getting the best of the best.
It has it all. Balz, bite breadth & a decent
sustain. Totally love it!!!

  1. Another Billy Gibbons in a box that doesn't sound like Billy Gibbons. Get the Peavey VTM pedal and you'll get much closer to Billy's most loved tones. Just sayin

  2. The only thing that can be traced back with any certainty is that on the Afterburner and Recycler records Billy used a dimed Marshall v12 practice amp thru a 12" Celestion G12 H100 speaker. Missing Link Audio Afterburner pedal has nailed that rig.

As for the Peavey pedal the amp it clones is literally a Marshall amp clone with a selection of Jose mods. As such it covers every other band in LA at that time with a Marshall as they all got with at least one or more Jose mods.

  3. I have a real Peavey VTM 120 and it nails early ZZTop tones. Those are the ones I love.
