Many many guys once they buy a Past FX pedal are back for another. 

These pedals capture the original sound very, very close, yet they 

really do improve anything on the original that may drive you nuts. 

I had a real Boss OD-1 and loved its punch but the volume control 

was not smooth. When you got it almost where you wanted it, it was 

locked into that same level. Not quite loud enough until suddenly it jumped up too high. Once I hit the sweet spot it lost  

its lows and there wasn't an EQ to tweak to fix it. 

The layout straight away tells you it has  the Volume & Gain of the 

original but added the needed tone control. A switch for presence 

allows you to cut the highs and keep the bass but add the sparkle 

so it is not going to get too dark. 

With the SD switch you can get usable if not dead on clone of the 

SD-1 and with the SYM switch you can get a Tube Screamer thing.

      CONCLUSION ___

The Past FX has fixed all the problems with the Boss.

The second circuit is really just a free dessert. It gives

you the a very usable Boss SD-1 plus a basic Tube

Screamer. All this would not matter if the OD-1 

voice was not nailed but it has the original NOS 

OpAmp and bingo!!! ...WTF love it!!!
