MXR
carbon copy deluxe
The layout is Mix, Regen, Delay, Speed and Width. The main new feature is digital like Tap delay features that can be set to different rhythms including the infamous dotted quarter note.
CONCLUSION ___
I prefer analog delay over digital. Analog has a warm sound that makes it stay in the background like a
frame around a picture. Digital insists on being part of
the picture. Modulation is a nice feature as you can
emulate a tape delay sound. In fact the MXR EchoPlex
pedal is my favorite delay.
For those with budget considerations you can not go wrong with the NUX Reissue Series Analog Delay.
It is a clone of the vintage Ibanez AD80. It uses the same old Panasonic chips. It even gets painted
the same color, lol. It literally sounds identical to the Ibanez. You may never go further than
the $60.00 USD that this costs.
