The original Golden Plexi has been on some guitar boards for over 10 years. 

It was at the time a minor miracle. You got a high gain MIAB that was equal 

to or better than nearly everything out there at any price.

With V.1 you could only dial in the high gain sounds and if you pulled back 

the controls it crapped out. V.2 allows you to switch it back to V.1 because some guys liked the sound with the quirks, lol. 

The layout is Volume, Tone and Gain and holding down the footswitch clicks 

it back to V.1 and indeed can go back to V.1 by holding it down again.

     CONCLUSION __

It just plain and simple sounds great. I just did the Joyo Golden Face 

and it reminded me of the Tone City so I wanted to give you guys 

thinking of scooping the Joyo an option.

To get to the point. This is a 100% Pro, no excuses pedal. A lot of guys have never felt the need to upgrade it even though it is the 

only budget pedal on their board.   

NOTE:  ...in the video V.2 has a toggle to switch instead of double clicking the footswitch. 

            Only the reviewers got that do to a late shipment of parts that held up the special 

             footswitch.
